Anthony D. Zinnanti, Esq.

Anthony D. Zinnanti is an attorney admitted to practice before all courts of the State of California, as well as the United States District Court for the Central District of California, the United States Tax Court, the Ninth Circuit Court of Appeals and United States Supreme Court. 

Since being admitted to practice in November of 1998, Mr. Zinnanti has handled thousands of cases. His practice experience entails dozens of jury and bench trials, administrative matters, over 130 direct appeals and writ petitions and representation on high profile matters. He has practiced before the Internal Revenue Service, IRS Appeals Unit, California Franchise Tax Board, Board of Equalization, United States Tax Court and state and federal trial and appellate courts on matters pertaining to his areas of practice.

Throughout his career, Mr. Zinnanti has promoted social interest work and pro bono representation for underserved litigants. His success in the trial and appellate courts includes a considerable number of defense verdicts and reversals on appeal, including several published appellate decisions. 

Mr. Zinnanti's practice is now limited to estate planning and related taxation. His practice includes the preparation of wills, "living trusts," complex and special needs trusts, powers of attorney and advanced health care directives, as well as related tax planning and compliance. Mr. Zinnanti's practice also entails trust administration and probate proceedings.

Estate planning and related taxation are complex areas requiring considerable ongoing professional education. Mr. Zinnanti's expertise in the area of estate planning is bolstered by his experience as a licensed real estate agent, along with business planning and extensive experience in real estate appraisal. In 2017, Mr. Zinnanti passed the exacting California State Controller's Probate Referee Exam (which generally has a 40%  pass rate). 

Mr. Zinnanti personally attends to each matter in his office and intentionally maintains a smaller clientele so as to give personal attention to each of his client.
